Digital marketing and Interactive agency Delvinia has been selected by the The Canadian Opera Company (COC) to help the company take the company in new directions and improve the over all customer experiece for existing and new opera fans. As part of its contribution, Delvinia review the COC’s digital properties, such as its popular Web site, coc.ca.
“The response to the new opera house has been incredible and we want to sustain this connection with the public,” says Jeremy Elbourne, Director of Marketing at the Canadian Opera Company. “We recognize that the COC Web site is an important part of enhancing the experience of our current and potential audiences, and we see the growing popularity of digital technologies as key to reaching out and connecting with a new generation of opera-goers.”
Delvinia will review how the COC currently caters to the digital needs and habits of opera fans, such as ease-of-use online ticketing information and how the COC can best provide desired information. Delvinia President and CEO will also be joining the COC’s Board of Directors, “The COC was very forward-looking in using new technology to build the best possible opera house, we wanted to help the company extend that technology to its online initiatives. By better understanding the digital habits and behaviours of opera-goers, Delvinia can ensure the COC continues to connect with its audiences on a meaningful and interactive level.”
