Update: Alain Paquin has sent an email updating that he will be the President and CEO of the combined entity which Komunik shareholders will own a large portion of stock of as Komunik purchases Datamark.
Komunik Corporation, a Montreal based relationship management solutions firm is in the process of being acquired by Datamark Systems Group
Inc. (TSX:DMK) for a deal worth $2.22 in cash. Komunik has been best known for their email marketing services platform “Maestro” a platform that was developed in-house. The deal is subject to board approval, and upon agreement the combined entity will continue under the name Komunik Corporation. Under President and CEO Alain Paquin’s leadership Komunik has acquired many technology solutions companies over the last few years which they have turned into “Konversation”, a modular technology platform, is designed to optimize and integrate business processes and relationship marketing activities.
