Vancouver based Contec Innovations announced the beta release of their BUZmob which allows publishers to deliver content over mobile devices. The BUZmob technology helps to deliver RSS and Atom feed-based content. Feeds have exploded across the Internet in recent years, numbering in the tens of millions. There has been an increased usage of feed technology across blog platforms, social networks and virtually all media and news sites over the last two years and with consumers constantly being “always on” the demand for technology from companies such as Contec Innovations will become increasingly important to online content publishers of all sizes.
For mobile users, BUZmob provides easy one-click access to personalized feeds on their handset, including images, graphics and linked web sites. BUZmob’s feed-reading capabilities are optimized for all mobile browsers, without requiring the end-user to download software or to subscribe to any service. Browser bookmarks are created automatically and sent via text message to the user in a subscription-free process.
