A few weeks ago we talked about the plans to add another 60,000 jobs to Montreal’s ICT cluster and TechnoMontreal is opening the door to any Quebec-based entrepreneur as it presents Capital Innovation 2010. According to their site Capital Innovation 2010 “allows start-ups, selected by the Advisory Committee, to meet, get advice and present its project to a network of specialized investors,” full details are listed on their site and you have until November 20th to submit your entry for consideration.
An advisory committee has also been assemblemed with representations from firms such as Anges Québec, BDC, BDR Capital, Celtic House, ID Capital, iNovia Capital, JLA Ventures (BlackBerry Fund), Montreal Start Up and Propulsion Ventures. Ten companies will be selected to present on March 24th, 2010.
