The writers strike is over, the awards are back on TV and Canoe.ca is looking to keep consumers entertained online with their recent content agreement with US-based iMedia which is a provider of digital entertainment content for the publishing industry.
According to Ray Ostor, Senior Product Manager for Canoe.ca the over 8.8 million unique visitors to the site are looking for entertainment video and they anticipate this will drum up a high demand from site visitors. Imedia has a collection of over 2,500 videos, pages and exclusive content, the site has also integrated an RSS feed allowing content to be pushed to a feed reader.
