Canoe.ca and Rogers into content agreement with 11 sites

Canoe.ca has entered into an agreement with Rogers Publishing Limited which will allow for content sharing from eleven of Roger’s brands to the canoe.ca site. Included in the agreement are chatelaine.com, chatelaine.qc.ca, macleans.ca, Todaysparent.com, Canadian Parents Online (canadianparents.com), FLARE.com, louloumagazine.com, glow.ca, Canadian Business Online (canadianbusiness.com), Lactualite.com and chocolatmagazine.ca.The deal is the handy work of Patrick Lauzon, Executive Vice President of Canoe, who if you’ve ever met him you know he is someone who “gets online” and truly understands the value of partnership such as this with Rogers Publishing. In a discussion with him early this week he hinted that this is just the start of a lot more to come from Canoe.ca. The site has been very active over the last year and reached 6,781,000 unique visitors in November 2006 according to data from comScore.
