With their new interactive website in place, the Canadian Opera Company (COC) continues to look for new ways to engage and interact with its members, and help them expand their audience. With the help of their digital agency Delvinia, they have now added audio streaming to the site’s offering. Broadcast that are offered on CBC Radio 2 of Madama Butterfly and The Nightingale and Other Short Fables will now also be available on the Canadian Opera Company website.
Users will now also be able to interact with members of the productions’ casts and creative teams, the COC is providing opera lovers with the opportunity to listen, ask questions, share anecdotes and enjoy the experience with fellow opera enthusiasts in a much more engaging way.
A great way to bring a bit of “old school to the new school” on the part of Delvinia and the COC, and finding new ways to leverage already existing content and distribute it in new and meaningful ways.
