Call for Speakers - Profectio Fall & Winter Event Series

We are ramping up for our fall and winter line up of events and opening a call for speakers. Below are topics and dates of events that we’ll be hosting, including a brief summary of what will be the focus of each event.

September 26, 2007 - Engage Me the online world is changing faster then some advertisers and marketers can adapt to. Consumers are being offered more and more choices on a daily basis where to spend their time and money and share their content such as photos, video and opinions or social observations. Forward thinking companies are breaking the rules of the past and virtually reinventing their business model. As a result the competition to “engage” the consumer is at one of the highest points we’ve seen in years.

October 16, 2007 – Word Up! ’07 - After a successful inaugural event last year, Word UP! is back with more to share about Word of Mouth Marketing. Once again we are partnering with WOMMA (Word of Mouth Marketing Association)

October 31, 2007 – The Secret - Designed to bring together a cross-section of Internet thought leaders to discuss the trends, innovations, and technologies that Canadian Internet Business and Marketing executives need to know in this edition we discuss the strategic side of search engine marketing and how it effects business today and tomorrow.

October 31, 2007 - As the World Searches – Part II - best-of-breed tips, techniques and strategies in search marketing, paid search, ROI from search campaigns, driving organic traffic and much more.

November 14, 2007 – Think Tank – The Mobile Enterprise – The series is designed to bring together a cross-section of Internet thought leaders to discuss the trends, innovations, and technologies that Canadian Internet Business and Marketing executives need to know. This series is for Directors, VPs and above. Peter Wolchak, Editor of Backbone Magazine will moderate a discussion panel with (2) Executives on Mobile technology in the Enterprise.

November 28, 2007 – Game On! - We’re going to gathers some of the most influential and pioneering leaders in branded entertainment, brand integration and non-traditional marketing-innovators who are redefining “advertising” for a new media age-to explore practical, real-world solutions to the challenges facing entertainment and brand marketers today.

January 30, 2008 - The Bold and Mobile - Consumers love to be “connected”; mobile consumption continues to rise year after year. Manufactures are continuing to make a better by integrating advanced audio and video capabilities. Ring tones, watching movies, mobile games and much more are all opportunities that advertisers are looking to take advantage of to get their brand in front of consumers. How can advertisers take advantage of the mobile platform?

Proposal Submission Guidelines:
We do not accept proposals from speakers who want to make sales pitches or new product presentations.
Speakers need to be articulate and quick-witted presenters as well as intelligent and experienced professionals. Speakers will be addressing a large crowd so it is important that they feel comfortable speaking publicly.
DESCRIPTION: A brief 100-150 word write-up (paragraph form) that will clearly present what you and/or your panel would cover during the presentation. This should be a thorough overview of your presentation. Your description maybe edited as necessary.
BIOGRAPHY: A brief 100 word biography of your business experience with special emphasis on experience that would classify you as an expert in the field in which you wish to make your presentation. If you are suggesting a panel discussion we need the names, contact information and biography of the other proposed panelists you are recommending for your panel.
Speaker References: Contact information of any events that you have spoken at previously. The speaker proposal form must be submitted electronically to Proposal Submission Guidelines:
