Buy.com Expands With International Sites, Including Canada

Online retailer Buy.com is expanding with the launch of 3 more sites including ca.buy.com (Canada); fr.buy.com (France); de.buy.com (Germany) and uk.buy.com (United Kingdom). The retailer currently offers a number of consumer products to its 12 million accounts including consumer electronics, computer hardware and software, cell phones, books, music, videos, games, toys, bags, fragrance, home and outdoor, baby, jewelry and more.

“We plan to replicate our successful online retailing model throughout the world,” said Neel Grover, President and CEO, Buy.com. “Like Buy.com’s U.S. roots, we’re introducing our core offerings in electronics first, but we plan to deliver robust product catalogs featuring a variety of categories and the same value-added services to our global customers.”

As part of the expansion Buy.com will also sell on eBay sites in the four countries, the company also plans to launch sites in Italy and Spain before the year of the year. Buy.com will also set up local warehouse partnership to enable shoppers to have speedier deliver on their ecommerce orders.
