BlackBerry Connect comes to Canada

BlackBerry(R) Connect(TM) makes its debut in Canada through Rogers Wireless and Nokia today on the Nokia E62 device, available December 21, 2006. The BlackBerry Connect will allow Nokia E62 customers features such as push-based connectivity, wireless email synchronization and attachment viewing. Additional features supported by BlackBerry Enterprise Server include wireless calendar synchronization, remote
address lookup, IT commands and policy enforcement and advanced security with Triple DES encryption.

The Nokia E62 device is very compact, only 14.5 mm thin and features a full QWERTY keyboard with large, backlit keys for easy typing. The device also features the largest PDA screen on the market with high-resolution 16 million colours measuring 320 x 240 pixels. The device boasts over 5 hours talk time and in addition to the Rogers Wireless crystal-clear connection, the Nokia E62 devices has many desirable phone features including speakerphone, five-way conference calling, voice dialing, and a dedicated key for easy voice recording.Nokia e62
Buzz for the phone has been pretty good so far with ratings averaging around 7/10 and a price point of $199 (based on a 3 year term) make it a definite buy.
