Streaming video continues to be a dominate channel for people to consume video especially as high-speed internet connections continue to offer customers faster download access. Bell is looking to take advantage of this opportunity as they’ve announced the availability of TMN Online (The Movie Network) to Bell high-speed customers who have also subscribed to TMN.

Will Bell become the first media company in Canada to offer us true convergence? I wouldn’t be surprised if we see Bell launch streaming media of its digital TV and movie content to Bell mobile devices, especially now that they have their new wireless network which will come online sometime in November.
