5 things that make me part of Toronto’s Tech Community

Toronto Tech Week is coming up at the end of May and part of the goal for the week is to help unite the local community. Over the course of the week there will be a lot of different events to help facilitate business development, celebration, education and networking and I thought one way to help bring Toronto’s Tech community together would be to start a meme focused on Toronto. The goal of this is to help identify some of the people who help to make up the community be what it is today and tomorrow and possibly make some new introductions to one another.

Toronto Tech Week

I’m going to go out on a limb here and tag some people who I know and some who I don’t really know “yet” to help answer the question what “5 things make me part of Toronto’s Tech Community?” With that said, I’d like the following people to come on down and join…

  • Joseph Thornley
  • Sandy Kemsley
  • David Crow
  • Ed Lee
  • Leesa Barnes

Oh ya, maybe I should answer my own questions

  1. I’ve worked in Toronto’s tech industry for over 10 years
  2. I have been involved or run different association that help serve the community
  3. I think that Toronto has a very strong and vibrant workforce and companies
  4. I’m the Chair for Toronto Tech Week
  5. I always looking to talk to Toronto based companies and write about what they’re doing on Profectio

Participation is simple, link to this post so that people can easily find the exact origin of the meme, if you get linked include the a link to the person who linked you and then link to 5 others. Also, include “torontotechweek” as the tag to your post.

Happy link-love-sharing, whatever it is! Be sure to check out the Toronto Tech Week site.

If you are free drop by Shoeless Joe’s tonight for some in-person networking.
