Diving Deeper Into Content Marketing, ScribbleLive Acquires Appinions

AppinionsToronto-based ScribbleLive was quite for a while, but looks like since their $12M in funding back in October of last year the company is becoming a big more aggressive to gain marketshare.

Today, the company has announced it has acquired Appinions, a maker of an influence analytics marketing platform built on patented natural language processing and social network analysis technology. The plan is co combine  ScribbleLive’s data centric content workflow and publishing platform with Appinions’ patented technology creates the first, end-to-end SaaS content marketing platform for the modern, data-driven marketer.

Appinions was Co-Founded in 2007 by serial entrepreneur Larry Levy and Dr. Claire Cardie of Cornell University.  The acquisition will also provide ScribbleLive with a deeper footprint into the US as the company targets more global brands and expand their operations.
