Water Cooler: Exchange Lab Continues To Shuffle Staff

We were recently tipped about some changes at Toronto-based Exchange Lab as two of the sales staff are no longer with the company.  The company quickly grew since first coming on the market back in the early 2000’s, but stumbled a little on their journey as they Shuffleraised $8M in funding back in late 2013.   The funds helped the company hire talent and expand into other markets.  Unfortunately Exchange Lab started to take a turn at the beginning of the year at the management level.  So you have to wonder, has Exchange Lab grown too fast or are they preparing for an IPO?

As we’ve said before the programmatic space is very crowded, and based on several conversations we’ve had with brands and agencies, there is a problem in the programmatic space.
