Brad Furtney joined Twitter Canada this month as the social network’s Sales Manager Agency Group which is a newly created role and part of the plan as they continue to expand the team since we broke the story of opening of their Canadian office in April 2013.
Prior to joining, Brad was a Senior Partner at Twentyten Group; Vice President of Sales at Bell/ Sympatico; he was also Director of Strategic Planning and Director of Corporate Partnership both at CBC.
As we mentioned earlier this week, it is definitely an interesting time in Twitter’s history, but Canada seems to continue to hire, which should eventually lead to some more sales for the social network.
