Owen SagnessWe’ve heard some rumblings that Owen Sagness, Vice President and General Manager Consumer and Online at Microsoft Canada has left the organization, but we’ve now confirmed with their PR department that he is still an employee of Microsoft.  Owen however has been promoted lead Microsoft’s Online efforts in the United Kingdom.  Owen has been with Microsoft since 2001 and held various roles including Vice President, MSN Canada, and Vice President, Enterprise Sales/Public Sector.

An official announcement has not been made as to who Owen’s replacement will be, if they keep it as in in-house promotion then our money is on Joe Strolz.  Joe is Vice President, Microsoft Advertising, and has put together an impressive team which has secured a number of key deals for Microsoft Advertising Canada, as well his efforts have been noticed by others in the industry.

We’ll keep you updated once we get further details…
