Canadian judges included Paula Gignac President, IAB Canada; Jen Holgate, Senior Vice President, Digital at Starcom, MediaVest Group Canada; Jeff Smith, Associate Vice President Digital, TD Bank; Tom Gierasimczuk, Editor in Chief Marketing Magazine; Owen Sagness, VP of Advertising & Online, Microsoft Canada and Jacqueline O’Sullivan, Head of Marketing, Microsoft Advertising.
“The MSAs were established to recognize excellence in digital innovation and to challenge marketers to think about future innovation in advertising and storytelling in inventive and forward-looking ways,” says Owen Sagness, General Manager, Microsoft Canada . “Congratulations to our Canadian winners for their inspiring submissions .I know they will represent the Canadian Marketing and Advertising industry magnificently in the global round of contest. Submissions by local Canadian winners will now enter the final stage of the competition, with their ideas competing head-to-head with winning entries from participating global markets. The final judging panel, chaired by David Sable, Global CEO at Y&R, will select two global winners, to be announced on or around June 1. These master storytellers will be treated to a week-long Cannes Lions VIP experience at the market in June 2012.
