For making phones calls, that’s so old school.  According to Moindex, Canadian women have found a new use for their smartphones.  You’ve all heard the saying “there’s an app for that,”  well according to some new data they just released “76% of women say they would download apps for discounts on beauty products, making them more susceptible to price offers,” says Malik Yacoubi, Vice President of Mobile Marketing at Cossette, Montreal

Malik further commented saying, “More than 90 per cent of women in English Canada and about 55 percent in Quebec who use their smartphones to search for more information about beauty products want more product information before making their purchases.”

So ladies, what app are you using for your recommendations?
