Canadian Tire Expands eCommerce Offering With New Tire Store

Retailer Canadian Tire continues to dabble into eCommerce pool launched their new tire store yesterday, with this new offering Canadian Tire now brings an inventory of over 8,000 products including brands and Canadian Tire exclusive products to a screen near you.

Consumers can scroll through a series of drop down menu options to select their particular vehicle, model year, tire size, tire type, and/or brand as well as build a custom selected tire and wheel package. The site also features enhanced product comparison capabilities, product information and a unique “help me choose” function which guides consumers through the purchase process to help them make the right decisions for their vehicles.  Canadian Tire had tried their had at eCommerce a few years ago but eventually shut down so it is good to see that they are still willing to experiment and deliver an experience to consumers how and where they want to buy.
