Critical Mass Adds To Executive Team

Advertising agency Critical Mass recently announced a few editions to their executive team, this comes on the heels of new editions they recently made to their creative and planning team.

John McLaughlin has been named Chief Operating Officer, and will oversee the quality and efficiency of the agency’s process and work product. With Critical Mass since 1999, he has led teams for several of Critical Mass’ largest clients and programs, including Hyatt, NASA, Procter & Gamble, and the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA). He has been promoted from his previous role as SVP, General Manager of the Critical Mass Chicago office.

Scott Ross has been appointed Senior Vice President, Executive Technology Director, and in this role he will be responsible for driving Critical Mass’ technology strategy and vision, enhancing its core processes and systems, and ensuring that technology can fully enable the extraordinary experiences the agency creates—from site to mobile, social and distributed experiences. Ross formerly served as VP of Technology in the Critical Mass Toronto office working across Citi, Infiniti, Gucci and other clients. Prior to Critical Mass, he spent ten years with MacLaren McCann where he led their technology practice.
