Social Media + Politics = David Miller's Re-election Campaign

Submitted by on September 26, 2006 – 1:47 pm

Toronto’s Mayor David Miller’s re-election camp makes a smart move and embraces the Internet and social media tools to help get the word out. They’ve added the video below to YouTube and created a MySpace page where he already has 72 friends. He even has a page in Wikipedia over here. A few days ago I was doing a search for CC Chapman and noticed that he also has one. Is this the new digital business card?

Makes you wonder how long before all political campaigns are run online?
