While Brittany may have been a top search with search engines, Girlicious and The Hills take top spots on MTV.ca and Muchmusic.com in the media company’s look back at a 40% growth in online video streams for 2008. One of the major themes at conference in the last quarter of 2008 was online video as panelists discussed the opportunities and challenges.

Video will continue to be used in more online properties in this upcoming year as the cost from product to distribution are becoming lower each quarter. We are also making quicker steps towards improved quality of video with high definition (HD) almost at a point where it is the standard.
