The 47th annual Bessies Awards took place last week in Toronto, presented by the Television Bureau of Canada in conjunction with the Broadcast Executives Committee. The annual awards recognizes the best in Canadian television advertising. The collective power of DDB Canada’s and Tribal DDB have helped the “Must Drink More Milk” campaign for the BC Dairy Foundation (BCDF) win quite a few awards during the 2009 Bessies Awards. Often known for their humor, the campaign once again added a twist as BCDF tries reach and engage a youth in BC.
“BC Dairy Foundation is honoured by the awards,” say Liz Gurszky, BC Dairy Foundation. “We have a legacy of great work we’ve done in partnership with DDB and are really proud of the “Must Drink More Milk” campaign that raised the bar yet again.”
